Written by Aashu, owner of Stitch Partner. We have matched spare parts for tailors and garment units since 1989, and a parts book is the first thing we ask for when a part is hard to identify.
Quick answer: a sewing machine parts book (also called a parts list, parts catalogue or parts manual) is a PDF with exploded diagrams and a part number for every component of one machine model. You can download free parts books for over 1,100 industrial models here: Jack parts book PDF, Juki parts book PDF, Pegasus part books, Kansai Special part books and Brother industrial part books.
| Brand | Free part books | Popular models covered |
|---|---|---|
| Jack | 42 | F4, A2, A3, A4F, C4, E4, K4, W4, JK-8669, JK-8558 |
| Juki | 439 | DDL-8700, DDL-9000, LU-1508, MO-6700, MO-3900 |
| Pegasus | 177 | W500, W600, EX5200, EX3200, M752 |
| Kansai Special | 199 | DFB1404P, DFB1412P, FX4412 |
| Brother | 267 | B797, B737, B845, KE-430D, BAS-311G |
Every book opens as a normal PDF in the browser. No sign-up, no email, no watermark tricks.
The model number is on a metal nameplate, usually on the machine arm, near the handwheel or on the motor housing. Jack models look like F4, A2 or JK-8558. Juki models look like DDL-8700 or MO-6716. Pegasus models look like W562 or EX5214.
Write down the full code including the suffix. A DDL-8700 and a DDL-8700-7 share many parts, but the auto-trimmer parts differ, and the suffix tells you which book to open.
A parts book is split into sections such as machine frame, needle bar, feed mechanism, lubrication and thread trimmer. Each section has one exploded drawing and one table.
Part names are loose. "Needle plate" can mean ten different plates. A part number removes the guesswork and prevents wrong orders and return trips. For example, the 7.94B rotary hook fits both Jack F4/F5 and Juki DDL-8700, which you can confirm by comparing the two books.
Once you have the number, search it on Stitch Partner or browse Jack sewing machine spare parts and Jack F4/F5/F6 parts.

Yes. Every book listed on the five brand pages opens as a free PDF with no sign-up.
Check the nearest base model in the same series first, since subclasses often share one book. If you still cannot find it, each brand page has a WhatsApp button, and we can often confirm the part number from a photo of the nameplate and the part.
Many Jack overlock parts follow the Pegasus EX pattern, and many single-needle parts follow the Juki DDL-8700 pattern. Compare both books before ordering, because small differences in screws and holders are common.
Stitch Partner keeps brand parts book pages with model lists and download links: Jack, Juki, Pegasus, Kansai and Brother. If a link no longer works, message Stitch Partner on WhatsApp with your model number.

Look for the nameplate on the machine arm or bed, or on the sticker near the handwheel. It usually has the brand, model and serial number.
A parts book shows exploded diagrams and part numbers for ordering spares. An operation manual explains how to thread, set and use the machine.
It is risky, because one name such as needle plate can cover several sizes and versions. Order by part number from the parts book, and send a photo if you are unsure.
Send the nameplate photo and a photo of the part to Stitch Partner. Many models share parts with a close sibling model, but this should be confirmed before ordering.
