How to use these guides

Start with your machine type. If you run single-needle lockstitch machines, begin with the presser foot, motor and needle guides. If you run overlock, flatlock, button or multi-needle machines, go to the brand pages for Siruba, Yamato, Juki and Kansai. If a machine shows an error code, the servo motor and control board guides explain what to check before you replace a part.

Before you order any spare part

1. Write down the brand, model number and machine type from the nameplate.
2. Find the part number in the parts book (see the parts book guide).
3. Measure what can be measured: needle plate hole, shank diameter, motor pulley size, blade diameter.
4. Order by part number, not by part name, because one name can cover several sizes.
